Andreas has worked extensively in all areas of the Stunt and Action Industry and is recognised as one of the finest all-round Stunt Performers of his generation. Andreas is also a highly experienced Stunt Co-ordinator, Fight Arranger and 2nd Unit Action Director and in 2009 he was inducted into The Hollywood Stuntmen's Hall Of Fame for his outstanding contribution to the stunt & action industry.
Having worked on over 500 productions worldwide alongside some of the finest Actors (including 25 Oscar winners!), Directors and Film-makers, Andreas has performed and created action sequences on some of the biggest franchises and blockbusters of all time including: Star Wars, James Bond 007, Mission Impossible, Jason Bourne, Marvel, DC, Braveheart and Gladiator to name just a few.
Andreas now devotes his time to sharing his knowledge and passion for the Stunt & Action Industry, training the next generation of Action Professionals at his Stunt & Action Academy based in the UK - ‘The British Action Academy’.

- What is the Warrior Masterclass Online and who are the British Action Academy?The Warrior Masterclass Online was created through the success of the four phase practical Warrior Masterclass Screen Combat Training System, created and delivered by Andreas Petrides through the British Action Academy. It has been designed specifically to enable anyone, anywhere in the world to be able to perform screen combat safely and confidently which could aid them if performing on a film or television set, or give them the opportunity to perform realistically to camera like their favourite screen action heroes.
The Warrior Masterclass Online gives a student the opportunity to learn and practice various Screen Combat techniques and routines through a series of online videos, which they can watch and learn where and when they wish.
The British Action Academy is an accredited UK based training academy, which was founded by Andreas Petrides in 2009 and with his team of Action Professionals, the Academy delivers regular in-person training courses and live action events in Stunt work, Screen Combat & Firearms For Film. All courses are available for both working or aspiring Action Professionals and to date the BAA has trained over 4000 students from all over the world. - Who is the Warrior Masterclass Online suitable for, and how fit do I need to be?The Warrior Masterclass Online is designed to be accessible to anyone who may be interested in learning Screen Combat, or looking to advance their current ability. The course is designed so you can study the course at your own pace. The Warrior Masterclass Online is suitable and available to purchase for everyone over 18 years of age. Children under the age of 18 can learn and participate in the training course but only under the supervision of an adult over 18 years of age. The course is for anyone who has a basic level of fitness and is free of injury. If you have any disability, but after watching the WMCO trailer you feel that you are able to safely perform most of the techniques shown, then you should be fine to participate in the course.
The course has been designed so that whether you have no previous Screen Combat experience or are a working action professional, the Warrior Masterclass Online will be both challenging and rewarding. - CAN I TRAIN ALONE OR DO I NEED A PARTNER?You can learn and practice all the WMCO techniques and routines on your own, however the routines are designed to be performed in pairs or groups. To fully understand Screen Combat and make sure all of the techniques are correct and working to the camera, you will need to practice with others.
- How long will the WMCO take to complete and is the WMCO a Pass or Fail course?The WMCO has been created to allow anyone to learn and progress through and enjoy the course at their own pace, so with this in mind you cannot fail.
However, when a student can perform all of the performance chapter routines to level number 4, they will have met the WMCO pass standard. When a student can perform all the routines with a similar standard as demonstrated in the showcase videos, they will have met the WMCO level 5 advanced standard. The WMCO has no time limit and every student will progress at different speeds. Even if you are already an experienced screen combatant, it should still take you several months of training to perform all of the routines to the level 4 pass standard and even more time and dedication to meet the level 5 advanced standard. - HOW MUCH DOES THE WARRIOR MASTERCLASS ONLINE COST AND WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I REQUIRE?The Warrior Masterclass Online costs £299.99. This allows you to have unlimited access to the Warrior Masterclass Online platform and with the Offline Mode you can watch and study where and when you please with or without WIFI or a mobile phone signal.
You will require training weapons when performing any of the armed chapters. You can acquire these yourself or have the option to purchase them through our online store. Please note you can still benefit from the training without the exact weapons, you could use improvised weapons as long as they are safe, however it is always best to use actual training weapons whenever possible..
